CNRNs are eligible to renew their credential in the fifth year of their certification. If you obtained your certification in 2005 or recertified as of January 1, 2006, then you are due to recertify in 2010.

Those who wish to renew their credential may do so either by retaking the CNRN exam or recertifying by CE. Please make sure to use the correct application when applying for recertification.

Recertification Applications

All applications form-fillable MS Word documents (.doc). Please save the application to your computer and then type in the gray form fields, which should expand to fit your text.

CNRN Recertification Grant Program

Through the Neuroscience Nursing Foundation CNRN Recertification Grant Program, $215 is awarded to CNRNs during their fifth year of certification (i.e., those who are due to recertify in the current year). Visit the Neuroscience Nursing Foundation Web site for more information.
