Earn Credits Toward Recertification as an Item Writer

Once you have your CNRN certification, you can earn three CE hours to be used for recertification when you develop five potential test items for the CNRN examination test bank.

Test development committee members are available to help you with item development, and item writing workshops are offered at each AANN annual conference. These workshops explain how questions are developed and structured for the CNRN examination, and cover test-taking philosophies and strategies.

Although potential items are welcome in any of the disorders listed on the CNRN examination matrix, we are particularly interested in items concerning geriatrics and pediatrics. Please contact Cecelia Roscigno for more information on developing items for the CNRN exam.
