Members of AANN have access to a multitude of benefits to enrich them personally and professionally, including subscriptions to the Journal of Neuroscience Nursing and Synapse E-News, discounts on educational products, and various networking opportunities.

Journal of Neuroscience Nursing
One year's subscription to AANN's bimonthly peer-reviewed journal which addresses the fields of neuroscience and neuroscience nursing. Members receive a hard copy of the journal as well as access to the journal articles online.

Synapse E-News
One year's subscription to AANN's bimonthly online newsletter which provides information about the ongoing activities and accomplishments of AANN and its members as well as helpful tips for daily practice.

Educational Sessions
Discounted prices on educational sessions sponsored by AANN, in particular AANN annual meetings.

Educational Products
Discounted prices on AANN products such as the Core Curriculum and other educational products in the Online Store.

CE Opportunities
AANN members receive a 50% discount on the CE offered for JNN and the Clinical Practice Guideline Series. In addition, these opportunities are offered for free to all AANN members during Neuroscience Nurses Week (the third full week of May).

Certification
AANN's certification arm, the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing (ABNN), oversees administration of the Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) credential. AANN members receive a discount of $85 on CNRN certification fees.

Networking Opportunities

Local Chapters
AANN has over fifty affiliated chapters across the nation. Included in the AANN New Member Kit is a listing of AANN chapters and who to contact to learn more about a specific chapter.

Special Focus Groups (SFGs)
Membership in AANN entitles members to join Special Focus Groups at no additional charge. The primary purpose of the SFGs is to provide networking opportunities by communicating on an e-mail list, posting resources and other information on the AANN Web site, and meeting at the Annual Meeting.

World Federation of Neuroscience Nursing
One dollar of each AANN member's annual dues goes to support the World Federation of Neuroscience Nursing (WFNN) and provides the member with membership in this international organization.
