Research Grant Programs

The Research Grant Programs of NNF advance neuroscience nursing through research. Funds are available to support research projects that evaluate new modes of therapy, contribute to the scientific knowledge base of neuroscience nursing, and contribute to the quality of patient care.

Integra Foundation NNF Research Grant Award

• Award: $10,000
• Application Deadline: extended to July 31, 2009 (applications must be received, not postmarked, by this date)

CNRN Recertification Grant Program

Through the Neuroscience Nursing Foundation CNRN Recertification Grant Program, NNF awards monies to Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurses (CNRNs) during their fifth year of certification (i.e., those who are up for recertification as a CNRN in the current year). Recertification grants are generously funded by Integra and the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing.

Travel Grant Program

Through the NNF Travel Grant Program, NNF awards monies to AANN members attending the AANN Annual Meeting in the Spring. Award monies can be used towards any direct expense that will assist the member in attending the meeting from registration to airfare to hotel accommodations.

• Application Deadline: November 16, 2009 (for the 2010 Annual Meeting)
