Chapter Activities
The Central Ohio Chapter of AANN (COCAANN) will be hosting their Annual Neuroscience Symposium: A Neuro Event on February 28, 2009. It will be held 7:30 am–2:30 pm at the Riverside Health Center in Columbus, OH. For more information, contact Paula Meyers at 614/566-3774 or pmeyers@ohiohealth.com. Contact hours will be provided.
The AANN Triad Chapter and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center present a CNRN Review Course, taking place March 7 and 8, 2009. The course will be held at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center on Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC. Those attending both days will be awarded 15 CEUs. The event’s featured speaker is Linda Littlejohns, MSN RN CCRN CNRN. Please go to northwestahec.org for course information and registration. The Gold Coast Chapter and the Neurological Institute of Broward Health is sponsoring and presenting a 2-day Neuroscience/CNRN review seminar for all nurses interested in neuroscience nursing. The 2-day seminar will be held at North Broward Medical Center, Deerfield Beach, FL, on February 9 and 10, 2009. Eight CEUs will be provided for each day. In other chapter news, the first annual charity event held by the Gold Coast Chapter, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, was a success. The charity event was for Mother’s Against Brain Injury.
