2010 World Parkinson Congress Welcomes WFNN to Scotland
In early December, the World Federation of Neuroscience Nurses (WFNN) became an organizational partner of the World Parkinson Congress (WPC), an international, interdisciplinary forum that showcases the most important developments in the world of Parkinson’s disease. As 2010 nears, additional information will be made available regarding this development.
Every member of AANN is also a member of the WFNN. As such, there will be special networking and events for members of the WPC partnering groups during the June 2010 World Parkinson Congress in Glasgow, Scotland.
Other WFNN News
In addition to the recent joining of WFNN by member organizations from Austria, Croatia, Iceland, and India, individual members have joined the organization from Cameroon, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and Bangladesh.
Be sure to visit the WFNN Quadrennial Congress Web site at www.wfnn2009congress.ca for the latest information on the May 2009 meeting in Toronto, Canada. All of the more than 140 education programs/poster sessions will be covered for clinical nurse educators and will represent a world platform for advances in medical and scientific research, education and training, best-care initiatives, and quality-of-life issues.
