Enjoy Las Vegas

We hope you have secured your registration to AANN's 41st Annual Educational Meeting, Leadership and Community: Investing Today in the Neuroscience Nursing of Tomorrow. You won't want to miss the stimulating keynote addresses, cutting-edge presentations and research sessions, almost 60 exhibitors, 30 poster presentations, and abundant networking and social events. Don't forget: You have the opportunity to receive almost 20 hours of continuing education credit from the conference alone. Add a preconference workshop or writing workshop, and you can potentially earn an additional 10 hours!
If you are a regular to Las Vegas or this is your first trip, the fun and people-watching always deliver in this city!

Great shows abound right in the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, where the Annual Educational Meeting is being held.
  • You're invited to the wackiest, wildest, and most-talked-about wedding in Las Vegas. Join Tony n' Tina's Wedding and their loved ones as they take you through this wild romp of an evening, from the wedding ceremony itself to the rowdy reception, complete with a tasty Italian buffet dinner, champagne toast, wedding cake, and live dance music.
  • Known for their outrageous blending of comedy and magic that often skewers the genre of traditional magic, Penn & Teller's live show has been a hit on Broadway and around the country. Edgy, provocative, and hilarious, the live show on any given night can involve knives, guns, a fire-eating showgirl, and a duck. Known as the "Bad Boys of Magic" for supposedly revealing the secrets to their tricks, they may show you how it's done, but they still manage to leave you startled.
Why not combine vacation and business travel to get the most for your money?
Consider these options:
  • the architectural wonders of Hoover Dam
  • a helicopter ride around the south and west rim of the Grand Canyon, landing at the bottom of the canyon, or watching a majestic sunrise over the canyon
  • whitewater rafting down the Colorado River.
