JNN Transitions to New Publisher

After several months of negotiations and planning, the Journal of Neuroscience Nursing (JNN) will enter a new era in publishing as we begin our relationship with Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW). With the February 2009 issue, JNN will move to LWW for editorial and manuscript, marketing, continuing education, and publication support. This move is a positive one for us as it opens new possibilities for what and how we publish, greater professional exposure, and a Web-based manuscript management program. The look of JNN will change slightly—the content will continue our long-time focus on disseminating and expanding neuroscience nursing knowledge. For authors, the change will streamline the publication process from the submission of the manuscript itself through the final printing. I encourage you to visit to our Web site and follow the link to www.editorialmanager.com/neuronurse.

AANN has recently announced its collaboration with publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) to produce Journal of Neuroscience Nursing (JNN). A new direction with LWW means that AANN will have increased exposure and recognition, as the new publisher markets to the more than one million subscribers of LWW journals. JNN will be among good company at LWW, who prints 50 other nursing publications, and will be included on www.nursingcenter.com, a portal site to nursing and healthcare journals. In addition, a new feature is now offered for submitting manuscripts online for publication and review at www.editorialmanager.com/neuronurse.
